The Spring-Summer 2016 runway hairstyles gave us some major volume goals with the models curled, wavy and large hairstyles. Here are our five favourites from the season:
Voluminous crimped locks
Only a true fan of very big hair can pull off this look, because it isn't something you would wear every day. To change things up a bit, this over-the-top look is perfect, as long as you keep your hair hydrated with masks (heat damage is real) and add some volumising products to it to give your natural volume that extra 'oomph'.
The trick to the perfect 70s blowout is getting the volume just right. Use a powder spray that texturises and gives your hair some body before curling your hair for those luscious large waves and finish off with hairspray to hold it together all day.
Crimped pixie cut
We've seen crimped hair make a huge comeback recently, so there had to be at least two crimped styles on our list of favourites! This one is for the girls with shorter hair – you don't always need long locks to add volume too! Crimping short hair is a simple process – spray on some hairspray and your pixie cut instantly has the volume you desire!
Flaves are a huge trend this Summer Spring season. A voluminous flave almost makes it to the top of our favourites list. With a texturizing spray or powder in one hand and your curling iron in another, create defined flat waves. Tease out the hair at the back of your head to brush out the waves for a little extra volume.
