No one can match Adele's strong tone and perfect pitch, which make her a strong contender for the modern Queen of Pop. Here are her changing hair styles through the ages!
2008 and 2009
The Brit Awards, with her first album 19, which debuted at number one on the charts in the UK, Adele wore her hair in a large bun, lending focus to her signature cat-eye-lined eyes that she declares her best feature. The singer kept a side-swept fringe in the front to frame her face while the rest of her hair is left in a low-slung bun. During the Vh1 Divas, we saw Adele try a teased ponytail, reminiscent of the low slung bun, along with some lashes inspired by styles from the 60s. This style worked well with her long and straight hair, giving her an elegant yet casual look for the award show.
2010 and 2011
At the MTV Music Video Awards, our favourite songstress went with big hair. She did her hair up with some major volume and a huge bouffant for an over-the-top 60s look that complimented her clothing and style of that time, perfectly.
In 2012, Adele experimented for the first time with a lighter hair colour for the Grammys. She kept her signature volume and bounce, and the colour lent more depth to her lob. With curls at the end, she put her entire look together with some stark rep lipstick.
2013 and 2014
With a braided up-do and her cat eyes, this year was a more daring look for Adele. She kept her hair colour a few shades lighter than her natural colour and opted for a messy braid to lend her a casual chic look.
2015 and 2016
Adele's latest look, which she debuted at the 2016 Grammy Awards, was a more textured look that was missing her signature volume. She's opted for a light balayage, that compliments her soft new look.
